iPhone X Review

Whether you are an Apple fan or not, there is no denial that when Apple releases a new product every year they never fail to catch our attention and make us  wonder what the next big thing is going to be. Personally, I’ve been a diehard Apple fan since day one, when the first iPhone came out. Then surely enough, I fell for the iPad, the MacBook, and the list goes on and on. It’s like how I am with my athletic wear. once I  find a brand I  like. Whether it’s because a professional athlete sponsors it or just because it fits right, I tend to stick very loyal to my brands.

This year was the iPhone X. Even though it is still very recent and most people are still waiting on their phone to come in, I wanted to write a short personal review of my experience from using the phone for about a month now.

I’ve come to realize that I look for three specific things on a phone: Ease of  use, the sharpness of the display, and last but not least, the quality of the camera.

Prior to purchasing the X, I was using the iPhone 7 Plus, which was significantly larger in size but at the same time harder to grasp and handle. The change in size was not a huge deal for me because the 5.8- Inch Super Retina Display on the iPhone X is  entirely screen. Talk about a game changer! Not only does it make the phone look sleeker, but it also eliminated  the home button by adding a  new swipe feature. I feel like the screen is a feature that stood out since day one, as it makes  it very simple to navigate through apps and when hiding  them as well. Not to mention that it responds to you with a simple tap, voice, or even a glance, which leads me into Face ID. It’s something truly amazing and  makes things a lot easier and quicker. . For me, the ability to unlock the phone with  a simple glance, without even having to touch the it, makes it pretty incredible!

iPhone X Camera

I could go into detail about the phone’s specs such as the pre-installed iOS 11 or the faster A11 Bionic chip (a yearly upgrade) and what not, but I wanted to talk about another thing that stood out to me.

One of the most important thing in any iPhone is the camera!  As  a blogger and not always having a photographer travel with me wherever I go, the iPhone’s camera makes it very convenient to have a phone that not only captures shots that I need at a high quality, but also record video at 4K! Another feature of the camera that became a quick favorite of mine is having portrait mode available, which is especially useful for my fashion and lifestyle shots.

I’ve really enjoyed the latest iPhone, but I will always complain about the battery life and price. But then again, what else is new? Ha! For how much I use it daily and the experience I’ve had so far, I can say it was well worth it!

In conclusion, I will leave it simple as this, if you have the money? Buy it. If not there are plenty of other great phones out there, Apple product or not.

Hope you guys enjoyed my brief review on the new iPhone X and stay tuned for future entries!
